My life’s passion is communicating research. I’m a published author and nonfiction writer who holds a certificate in Medical Writing and Editing (University of Chicago: 2021) and a Master of Science (University of Florida: 2008). My recent writing has spanned COVID-19, oncology, gene therapy, emerging diagnostic tests, novel infectious diseases, public health, arboviruses, new strains of antibiotic-resistant bacteria; and novel and reemerging pathogens that affect people, plants, and animals.
